The bright daytime palette is difficult at night.</p><p>Also, I wonder if some scenery lighting, (buildings, etc) might remain on a little later past sunrise, or come on earlier before sunset. For navigation within a fairway, the markers should be visible from at least 1.2 miles. The visibility of the markers may vary with the size of the vessel (bridge height).
