Hello captains !
While the last update brought a nice improvement in the maneuvreing quality of the Doggerbank (reactivity imrpovement on the pitc), we're still not completely there.
It's now clear that the bow thruster really lack in power. The best way to show it is trying to do the u-turn in Rotterdam Europort : first you nd perform a latteral displacement to have the ship around 15m from the berth, parallel to the berth. Then you need to hold the aft of the ship in position by differenciating with rudder to port while turning to the right by having the BT on full power.
Having the engine holding you aft in position should indeed reduce the BT effect, but the BT hould be powerfull enough to counteract that effect +have any effect on the bow's latteral speed. Here, when you hold you aft around 15m from the berth with your engines and rudder, the BT can achieve a pathetic 0.4 knots of latteral speed for the bow, I should be able to reach at least 1 knots π
Moreover, the berth in europort still doesn't have collision activated, which means that even if you are the best captain in the world you'll pass through the berth π
Could all this be fixed ? With that Doggerbank behaviour will be almost perfect !
