Hi there I've just gotten Nautis Home and was hoping to use it to practice ship handling for work.
I'd love to be able to practice on what I use at work but so far have come up empty. However, I may have just missed it so please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm looking for a relatively small vessel about 100m at in length and about 7000gt with two variable pitch props and rudders, thrusters up font and a thruster down aft as well.
I understand for the purists amongst you, you may say where's the challenge in that. Trust me with British winter weather and over 800 souls in your hands there is still more than enough pressure when doing it for real.
I understand the Doggerbanke is a reasonable substitute but it handles like a freight train and the bow thrusters are pretty underwhelming. Not to mention its still missing the stern thruster.
I guess what I'm looking to know is there another vessel that I've missed with the above specifications that's at least more comparable than the Doggerbanke. And if not is there anything in the pipeline that might potentially fulfil the specs I'm looking for.
