I've just spent 9 weeks onboard the vessel that the Odysseus is based on and I do have to say that the Odysseus feels underpowered when manouvering. We do have a bit more power than the Odysseus has according to pilot card. We have 2 1900kw Schuttle Azimuths where as Odysseus has 2 1600kw Azipulls. Irl we put about 30-35% on 1 thruster and we glide of the dock and can do a lot of manouvers, we did about 1.5 knots sideways within seconds with 1 thruster at 34% (5 ms winds) Where as the Odysseus seems to be very slow in all manouvering aspects. It doesn't slow down well at all. Requires quite a lot of power to do anything. Is there really that big of a difference with 300kw and a different type of azimuth? I wouldn't assume so
