I have been a dedicated subscriber to Nautis Home for some time and thoroughly enjoy exploring the various scenarios, particularly alongside my father, who has over 20 years of experience as a ship captain. I am also a ship electrical officer and have completed two contracts on a long-range crude oil carrier, which has further deepened my appreciation for the simulator’s realistic environments.
While the Arcturus is an excellent ship to simulate, its sheer size and draft make it challenging to navigate different scenarios and environments. A smaller oil tanker, with a lower DWT capacity, would be ideal for simulating various ports and more flexible navigation scenarios. My father’s career has included command of oil tankers ranging from 13,000 DWT to 80,000 DWT, so expanding the selection to cover this range would significantly enhance the simulator’s versatility.
