Tugboat emergency stop test

Hello colleagues,

An emergency stop test in azimuthal tugboats involves the immediate reversal of the thrusters to stop or significantly reduce the speed of the vessel. This procedure is crucial for situations where it is necessary to avoid collisions or react quickly to unexpected changes in maritime conditions or traffic.

During the test, the tugboat moves forward at a set speed and then the thrusters are abruptly reversed. The behavior of the vessel is observed, including the time and distance required to come to a complete stop. This test is important for assessing the responsiveness and effectiveness of the tugboat's propulsion and control systems in critical situations.

When the propellers are going to the reverse position the speed starts to drop, but when they are completely reversed the speed reaches zero and then increases quickly towards reverse....in the real test I think everyone already knows what happens. Another detail is the water flow is not following the propellers synchronously. I think these two points would provide great feedback for training.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say that all the development and results achieved so far are fantastic. Congratulations to everyone!โš“๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ†

All the best
