Below I present some points of improvement of AEOLOS AIR.
• Hydrodynamics: The trace in the water as well as the navigation of the ship on high waves needs improvement. Create the water spray.
• Water Jet: You need each pair of water jets 2 right and 2 left to operate independently on each side. That is, to have 2 independent rudders between them that will help a lot in handling the boat
• Autopilot: I notice that the ship's autopilot is not working properly. There is a big deviation in the degrees you want to keep from the actual cruise.
• COG: The course of the ship to the seabed (cog) shows a great difference with the gyroscopic (heading) without any external force effect during the ship's voyage (wave, wind, sea current)
• Anchor : There is a problem when using the anchor. In the anchor indicator panel when thrown into the sea there are no tensions at all. Also, the anchor behaves unusually as if jumping into the water.
• Port of Registry: It would be more realistic for the port of registry if the vessel is flying the Greek flag to be PIRAEUS and not Athens.
• Coning Panel: This boat has 4 main engines connected to 4 waterjets. The display panel would show the power of all four engines, not just the two.
• Speed: I've noticed say the sog & stw don't show decimals in the coning panel but only integers, which is not correct.
