This post will give a brief introduction in how to run and install NAUTIS Home

Make sure your PC system configuration at least matches our minimal recommended specifications.
Create a LXP account on https://lxp.vstepsimulation.com/

LXP is VSTEP's e-learning environment. On this website you'll also find supportive documentation about NAUTIS Home (like for example manuals and pilot cards).
If you have received a voucher code (from an organisation you work for, or a school for example). Use this code during the registration step.
Open up the e-mail you received from VSTEP at your registered e-mail address. If you didn't receive an email, please check your spam folder.
Click the registration link and activate your LXP account.
Login to the LXP website.
Activate your NAUTIS Home license on LXP.

Upgrade your account by clicking on the \"Upgrade your account button and follow the payment/subscription steps.
After you have created an LXP account, and setup payment subscription, it's time to download the Launcher.

Download the NAUTIS Home launcher to your PC from the Download section.
This launcher is needed to download the NAUTIS Home software and keep it up to date.
After clicking this button, the Launcher installer NautisHomeSetup.exe will be downloaded on your computer (in your downloads location or on your desktop).
Make sure the Launcher Installer is downloaded properly. It could be blocked by your browser.
Install this Launcher on your computer by double clicking on it.
During this installation process, several Windows Security screens might be shown:

Press More info

and next press Run Anyway on the bottom om this window.

Press Yes
Accept the License Agreement, and press next.
Press next at the install location section (default: C:\\Program Files\\VSTEP\\NAUTIS Home)
Keep the Start Menu Folder as is and press next.
Keep the checkbox on for \"Creating the desktop shortcut\", and press next.
Press the install \"Install\" button.
This installation process for the Launcher will go quite fast.
If asked to restart, please select \"Yes\", and Finish installing.

Start the NAUTIS Home launcher, either by following the Launcher Installer option or by double clicking on the icon on your desktop.
A pop up might be shown that there's a Launcher update. Press \"OK\" to let the Launcher update itself.
If there are options, the Launcher will close itself and restart.
Fill in your VSTEP LXP account credentials and press LOG IN.
NOTE Make sure you have a activated LXP account (so either a linked voucher code, or have an active subscription). If there's no linked subscription/linked voucher, please visit our LXP website and set this up.
After verifying your account license, the Launcher will check if there is a new version for NAUTIS Home.

A message will show if there's enough space on your computer for NAUTIS Home to be installed.
If there's not enough space, please make some room for NAUTIS Home.
When there's enough space. press \"START\", and wait for NAUTIS Home to be downloaded.
NOTE: NAUTIS Home is a big software package, so downloading might take a while.
After the download is complete, you can start NAUTIS Home and sail away by pressing the NAUTIS Home button.
NOTE: During the first startup you might see a firewall message window, please allow the network connections.

Firstly, make sure you have checked the system specifications to be sure that your PC meets all the needed requirements.

Please reinstall NAUTIS Home by following the steps below:

Reinstall NAUTIS Home

Exit NAUTIS Home and the Launcher if they are running

Manually delete this folder: C:\\Program Files\\VSTEP\\NAUTIS Home\\NautisHome

Uninstall NAUTIS Home via Windows (Programs and Features)

Download a new installer

Install this as administrator and after that's done, run it as administrator by using your context menu

Once you have checked the system specifications and if reinstallation still does not work, please check the following as well:

Check Application - In the launcher press the VSTEP Support button.

Windows update - Ensure you have all the latest updates installed for your Windows version. Outdated Windows versions are known to cause issues with the game.

Graphics driver update - Outdated graphics drivers can cause the game to crash. Make sure you have your latest AMD or Nvidia drivers installed.

Microsoft DirectX - Install the latest version of Microsoft DirectX Especially if you encounter \"Unigine fatal errors\"

Update sound card drivers - Even if you hear sounds, the sound driver could impact your performance. Make sure you have the latest version installed
